“Through the rush”

Description

Sometimes I sit down in a simple place. A small lake, surrounded with trees, reeds and lovely green grass. There is nothing majestic or breath-taking about it, but the beauty lies in the smaller things. The way that the light glimmers on the surface of the water, the way that the breeze softly plays in the reeds and the way that the birds flit between the trees. Tranquil. Lovely.

In the background I could hear the traffic of the city, but for that moment in time, I was enjoying the moment.
